These  are  found  on  most  commercial  doors.  The  two  leaves  of  the  hinge  are  connected  with  a  pin,  one  leaf  is  mortised  into  the  edge  of  a  door  and  the  other  leaf  mortised  into  the  rabbet  edge  of  a  frame.
